Players Championship – Marine Park Golf Course
WAGC Team USA first major of the 2017-2018 season will be at Marine Park Golf Course in Brooklyn, NY October 7-8. Amateur golfers that have a handicap between 0 and 25 may enter this tournament HERE. Remember, September is “Membership Month” for Team USA. Our normal $189 annual membership fee is reduced to $139 (September only). Members receive discounted tournament entries. Join Team USA HERE.
Reality TV Series Pilot Filming
Camera crews will be on-site at Marine Park Golf Course for the filming of a Reality Web/TV series. WAGC Team USA has commissioned the production of a pilot for the planned series to highlight amateur golfers and their quest to become “World Champion”.
World Amateur Golfers Championship
Each year, National flight winners for Team USA get an all expenses-paid trip to represent Team USA in the world finals. 2017 World Finals are in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Recent World Finals have been held in Turkey and South Africa. World Amateur Golfers Championship is the oldest and largest amateur golf championship in the world with over 40 countries participating and has been running since 1965.
